About · Approach & philosophy

A cultural attaché, for brands.

An attaché's job is representation: you carry your home country's culture into a host country, and you build enough mutual understanding that good things can be negotiated. I've come to see experiential marketing the same way. The brand is the home country. The market is the host. My job is to represent one to the other so faithfully — in rooms, at conferences, across five countries — that attraction does the work interruption never could.

That's the soft-power case for experiential over pure performance marketing. Brand activations, developer conferences, and roadshows are cultural diplomacy. Advocacy roundtables and executive workshops are educational exchange. And every one of them lays the groundwork for the actual negotiations: sponsorship deals, partnerships, and pipeline.

Underneath the diplomacy, I'm a systems thinker. Every program has an operating model — how it's funded, how it's staffed, how it's measured — because a beautiful moment that can't be repeated or proven is a cost center, and I don't build cost centers. I build engines: 74× lead growth from one program, 645 hires from another, sponsorships covering up to 75% of costs on a third.

Surprise & Delight is how that work scales. I lead every engagement personally and build the crew around it — producers, designers, fabricators, technical directors, local teams — sized to the project, accountable to me, in service of your vision. You get a partner, not a portfolio.

Before any of this I trained as a fine artist at Columbia College Chicago and studied multimedia in Florence, Italy. That's where the conviction comes from: craft is not decoration. It's the thing people remember, and what people remember is what they buy.
